Varanasi - Delhi

Oops, almost forgot that we saw the Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi before going to the airport, quite a large and prestigious school.  Interestingly, most of the Indian students go to study IT and technology while western students go to study religion, music and philosophy.  The school is available as an exchange program through McMaster University.
Flight to Delhi was again uneventful and we enjoyed the sightseeing tour of the city.  New Delhi is very much a modern city.  The multi-lane through way felt like driving through Toronto on the 401 (except for the bicycles and tuk tuks) and the people on the streets wore more western clothes than we had seen in the smaller places.  Going through the markets in the older part of the city (by bicycle rickshaw again) was much more fun.
Highlights of the last day would be visiting the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and visiting the ancient mosques.  At the active one, children threw flower petals at us and we had to wear full robes.
