This village is known for its thousand year old Hindu temples. They are covered with beautiful and intricate erotic carvings. We saw them twice: once by night as part of a sound and light show and again the next morning. As we left the site, we were surrounded by the usual hawkers. This time they were offering copies of the Kama Sutra- "with ALL the positions ma'am".
In the afternoon, we flew to Varanasi on the second of our domestic flights. It was much better than our first internal flight when we changed flights in Mumbai. The Mumbai domestic terminal is horribly confusing and finally we took two taxis which circled around and up a ramp from arrivals to departures for a large fee. A lesson well learned.
For the last few days we step up the pace and travel every day.
