Along the roadside or wandering the streets we have seen
Water buffalo
Donkeys
Chickens on a bike
Dogs
Goats
Pigs
Sheep
Camels
Monkeys
One elephant
Bats in the caves
Only two cats
Horses being ridden or pulling carts
Many cows. One was wearing a turban
Before I came to India I imagined the cows wandering the streets and it was even more so. They cross the streets even highways with less fear than I do stopping traffic because no one will hit them. They never hurry and they sleep wherever they want, on the medians, in the road or against petrol pumps.
